Join us as we take a 52-week journey through the Bible.

Every Monday through Friday we’ll provide a Scripture selection from both the Old and New Testament.  You can choose to read both selections each day to read through the Bible or just the one selection to read through the New Testament. A Daily Devotion based on that day’s New Testament reading will be posted here. These messages will challenge you to grow deeper in your Christian Faith and walk closer with Jesus Christ.

On Saturday, review the scriptures you read the past week and reflect on what they mean to you and ask God how you can more fully apply His Word in your life. Then on Sunday be certain to join us for worship as you praise God for all that He has revealed to you during the week and encourage other believers in their journey with God and be encouraged by them.

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23: 42-43).

It was early in the morning on Friday as they crucified Jesus between two criminals. Those who passed by were yelling insults at him. The chief priests with the scribes and elders were mocking him. The soldiers al

“Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers” (Luke 22: 31-32).

Jesus is with His Disciples in the upper room, and they had just finished eating the Passover meal. Then Jesus, in the most beautiful way, took the elements of the meal, the

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away (Luke 21: 33).

Today there are many organizations dedicated to saving the Earth or saving the Planet. That goal is futile. God says it will all pass away. This earth is temporary. This world will end. The book of Revelation tells us that God will create a New Heaven and a New Earth. Then I saw a new heaven

They questioned him, “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach correctly, and you don’t show partiality but teach truthfully the way of God. Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” But detecting their craftiness, he said to them, “Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?” “Caesar’s,” they said. “Well then,” he told them, “give to Caesar

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10).

Every child that has ever attended Sunday School knows the story of Zacchaeus. The wee little man that climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus.

It is interesting to note that Luke has already mentioned tax collectors several times in his Gospel. But this is the first time he mentioned any of them by name.

Now he told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not give up (Luke 18:1).

Jesus told His disciples to pray always and not give up. We should never get so discouraged in our Christian walk we quit praying. We should pray continually. Prayer should be the natural habit of our lives.

In teaching about prayer, Jesus tells two parables. Like in all of His para

I tell you, on that night two will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left (Luke 17: 34-35).

How tragic are these words of Jesus? At the Second Coming, a husband and wife will be sleeping in bed and one taken but the other left. Two friends working together, and one taken

The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I’m no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father told his servants, ‘Quick! Bring out the best

We’re all familiar with the marketing phrase today, “Have it your way”. For as many years as Burger King has used that slogan and I have gone there for hamburgers, I’ve yet to get one My Way—FREE! There has always been a cost.

We want things our way.

Why should it even waste the soil?” But he replied to him, “Sir, leave it this year also, until I dig aroun
